  Amazing views, fairly steep walk up a sealed road. Definitely recommend going up for sunrise and sunset!

  Brisk walk to the peak which has 360 degree views of the surrounding country side. The mountain range on one side, and a view over farmland on the other

  Might be the highest mountain in the Grampians but compared to other spots in the national park it's not that exciting. But you can't do something wrong going up there. Some nice spots for pictures, the way up is pretty easy. It's a whole road and from the car park to the top its about 45 minutes.

  A very strenuous climb to the peak, 'I would not recommend to those with walking or health difficulties'. If your still reading this, great, because the views are spectacular, and make sure that you have your camera. Each step up the grade reveals another distant peak or views of the balconies which surround Mt William to the north, west, and south. Beautiful escarpments rising from the valleys, and a huge drop to the eastern plains overlooking Halls Gap and to the distant wind farms. A small monument marker attributes the naming of this peak to Major Mitchell 1836. Also has pointers marking landmarks in the local regions. Very foggy on the day I made the climb, but didn't detract from the splendid vistas.
